About Me

Are you trying to manage your own personal issues and feeling overwhelmed?

Are you stuck or confused about your decisions in life or career direction?

Are you managing a disability and require support in building life skills?

Could you benefit from a plan, new skills and resources to manage your challenges?

I work at combining career counselling with mental health support, drawing together a unique mixture of expertise, experience and training that enables me to provide highly effective, evidence-based support.

With 20 years of experience providing interventions for individuals, I am here to listen, provide insights, a plan, new skills and resources that can be used to assist you in managing challenges and reaching your career and life goals. My skills lie in addressing areas of concern in a sensitive and positive way by helping to clarify issues, explore options, develop strategies and increase self-awareness. I have a strong history of facilitating the discovery of existing strengths and abilities, so that goals can be carefully tailored to a person.

As a Mental Wellbeing and Vocational Counsellor, I have worked in many organisations as well as one of Melbourne’s highly reputable tertiary universities supporting large cohorts of individuals with diverse strengths and challenges over many years. I offer support through a process of improving mental health by addressing social and emotional difficulties. I assist individuals facing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, family and relationship issues.

I also provide careers counselling in all aspects of the career planning process and assist individuals in making informed choices regarding further studies, vocational training and employment. I have extensive experience working with young people and adults and helping them to manage life’s challenges and transitions. I specialise in building up a person's self-worth, providing effective strategies to address life’s challenges and career direction. I have a strong track record of effective results and positive outcomes with clients.
